Sussex Inlet comes alive this summer with the Summer at Sussex program – a series of family-friendly music and food events – set to launch on 3rd December. Featuring an exciting array of musicians and food stalls, these events will take place at varying locations in Sussex Inlet and are designed to bring the community and visitors together to celebrate the end of what has been another challenging year!
Summer at Sussex Highlights
Summer at Sussex runs from 3rd December 2021 – 26th January 2022 so there’s plenty of opportunity for you to check out the events during your stay in Sussex. Some of the highlights include:
Seafood at Sussex
Taking place on two separate evenings over the summer, this seafood dinner for 45 people at Pelican Shores Cafe & Marina is one not to be missed. Bookings are essential!
Dates & Times: Saturday 18th December 2021 (6pm – 9.30 pm) & Saturday 15th January 2022 (6pm – 9.30 pm)
Bookings: Book directly with the restaurant. BYO drinks
Vibe in the Village
A food and music event with music set up in the park and tables in the street + nearby cafes. Bring a picnic rug or chairs if you wish to sit in the park. BYO drinks or purchase from nearby cafes.
Location: Jacobs Drive Cafes + music in the park
Dates & Times: Tuesday 28th December 2021 (5pm – 8pm), Wednesday 29th December 2021 (5pm – 8pm) &Friday 14th January 2022 (5pm – 8pm)
Inlet Flicks
A special indoor and outdoor event in partnership with Inlet Cinema. 110 indoor tickets will be available and 150 outside tickets. Book early to avoid disappointment! Drinks, choc-tops and popcorn will be available for sale at the cinema.
Location: Pop-up outdoor cinema next to Inlet Cinema
Dates & Times: Friday 7th January 2022 (6.30 pm – 9.45 pm) & Saturday 8th January 2022 (6.30 pm -10 pm)
Boogie at the Beach – Surfside Caravan Park 30th December
We can’t wait to host this wonderful event at Surfside! It’s going to be a fun-filled afternoon/evening with live music and plenty of delicious food options to choose from. Bring your own picnic rug/chairs and drinks, sit back and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of Surfside.
Time: 5 pm – 8 pm
What to Bring: Seating (picnic rug or chairs) and drinks
Food Options: Nomads Food Van, Cevapi King Food Van and My Cheeky Habit Desert Van, Cuddy Café will also be taking takeaway pizza orders at the site.
