Fishermans Rock – walk west along the bush path from the playground at Berrara Creek to Fisherman’s Rock. A good steady walk with many varieties of flora and fauna.

Mermaids – a must do. Start at Berrara Lagoon (low tide is best so you can get across the lagoon) then walk south along level easy to walk on beach 1.5km until you reach a rock shelf and Mermaids Pool which is big enough to swim in. A great walk to do with the kids. Unfortunately no dogs allowed on this beach.

Cuddy General Store is a short walk away from us and has a lovely view of Swan Lake.

day trips

If the weather turns or you are looking for some retail therapy and a wider range of dining options, take a drive to either Huskisson (30 mins north of us) or Milton (30 mins south of us). Huskisson offers a range of dolphin watch cruises and scuba diving options as well as great fish and chips.

Milton is great for having a stroll through the shops and eating out. If you have the kids in tow and they are bored, head further south to Mollymook where they can play for hours at the newly built inclusive playground Libby’s Place. For wet days a bit further south in Ulladulla you will find Funland.

Mountain bike trails

Heath Circuit in the National Park is a 22km loop that goes out as far as the Highway and back. The ride to the Walter Hood Monument from Cudmirrah is also a 22km return ride and offers spectacular beach riding.
