Pelican Shores
Under new management and with pristine views right on Sussex Inlet River, Pelican Shores offers front row seats to the river system that makes our special town so unique.
While their Marina and Café are currently closed for renovation, their kiosk is now open for takeaway between 6:30 am and 7:00 pm which is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere pet-friendly with a little extra space. Enjoy a yummy bite to eat outdoors with the whole family (including the four-legged ones).
You can also hire a boat for the day and pull up to the cafe from the water, pick up your takeaway and enjoy on the river.
Swordfish Brewery
Also overlooking Sussex Inlet River, Swordfish Brewery recently opened in January 2023. With a seasonal menu, they are open for lunch and dinner Wednesday – Sunday and 7 days over Summer. Offering a great range of locally brewed beers as well as woodfired pizzas and a full menu Friday – Sunday, they also regularly have live music on a Sunday between 2pm – 5pm. They’re dog friendly too so you can take the whole family!
Pilgrims cafe
Just 30 minutes drive south, Pilgrims Cafe is an iconic must. With a great vegetarian menu available, they are also pet friendly and offer outdoor seating to welcome furry customers for a cool drink too. Why not make a day of it and visit some of the boutique shops Milton has to offer before enjoying a delicious lunch full of goodness.
Milk Haus
Just off the main highway, Milk Haus is located along Woodstock Road, Milton. Perfect for little ones (and furry ones), their pet friendly property has plenty of space to spread out and explore their beautiful gardens and charming surrounds. Their home-grown produce is super fresh and well worth the trip.
Cupitt’s Estate
Cupitt’s Estate hosts Live Music at their weekly Sunday Sessions. A pet friendly venue, enjoy a casual alfresco menu in Dusty’s Garden Bar overlooking incredible views with the whole family.
5 Little Pigs
Located in the main street of Huskisson, just 30 minutes drive north of us and offering outdoor seating and views of the bay, this family run cafe offers delicious breakfasts and lunches. A great dog friendly cafe to visit and follow up with a walk around Jervis Bay.
Jervis Bay Brewing Co
Located near Huskisson and dog friendly, why not try some locally brewed beer and experience a laid back vibe in this eco and community conscious brewery. 5 Little Pigs also have a food van here.
